My wife, daughter, and I recently took a trip to the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. We stayed in Playa Del Carmen and ventured a little north and south in either direction.
We visited the Mayan ruins in Tulum along with a few beautiful cenotes and came back with these amazing travel photos to share.
This is me jumping off a cliff at Cenote Azul between Playa Del Carmen and Tulum.

While on a recent trip for a destination wedding in Cabo, Mexico, I had the chance to shoot a handful of beautiful photos of the scenery I saw along the way. Traveling and shooting photos of incredible sights never gets old… Enjoy!
Over the Fourth of July weekend I took a quick trip to Tijuana, Mexico in search of whatever I could find that would be outside of my comfort zone. Along with the incredible and unique food from various street vendors, tourist strips of shops and bars, and a wild beachside festival, I got to experience a traditional bullfight. I was really looking forward to the authentic taste of the Mexican culture, and honestly had no idea what to expect, but to say that I was completely blown away by the whole ordeal would be an understatement. I couldn’t figure out how else to explain a bullfight other than to give my extremely uneducated gringo take on things while showing a series of photos of what I saw. Ole!

Over the Fourth of July holiday I went with a few friends south of the border to Mexico. Even though it’s only a few hours away from where I live I had never been there and I was super excited for a quick taste of a different culture. I had an amazing time and even got to experience a traditional Mexican bull fight, which although was a bit difficult to watch at times, was really cool to be a part of. Here are 15 travel photos from my weekend in Ensenada and Tijuana.
Back in February 2007 Red Bull flew me and my best friend Terry Adams to my first international BMX contest to cover it for Ride BMX Magazine. Besides quick day trips across the Mexican and Canadian borders this was my first real trip out of the country. The small village was nestled deep in the mountains and you had to drive through single-lane a tunnel to get into the town. It was an incredible experience and really set the pace for what has become a burning passion of mine…traveling the globe in search of new cultures and life experiences.
Here are a dozen photos I shot when I wasn’t inside the Red Bull 14 flatland BMX contest venue and I wondering around Real de Catorce taking in the sights.
Photos shot between February 7-11, 2007 with a Canon 20D and Canon Rebel-G.
